Space Applications Centre (SAC), Ahmedabad, is one of the lead Centres of Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), Department of Space (DOS). SAC focuses on design of space borne instruments for terrestrial and planetary missions of ISRO and development and operationalisation of Space Technology for National development.

ISRO SAC Ahmedabad invites applications for the following posts :\

1. Scientific Assistant : 02 posts, Pay Scale : Rs. 9300-34800 grade pay Rs.4600
2. Library Assistant 'A' : 02 posts, Pay Scale : Rs. 9300-34800 grade pay Rs.4600
3. Technical Assistant (Electrical) : 04 posts, Pay Scale : Rs. 9300-34800 grade pay Rs.4600
4. Technical Assistant (Mechanical) : 01 post, Pay Scale : Rs. 9300-34800 grade pay Rs.4600
5. Technician 'B' (Electrician) : 16 posts, Pay Scale : Rs. 5200-20200 grade pay Rs.2000 
6. Technician 'B' (Machinist) : 01 post, Pay Scale : Rs. 5200-20200 grade pay Rs.2000
7. Technician 'B' (Electronics / IT) : 01 posts, Pay Scale : Rs. 5200-20200 grade pay Rs.2000

Age : 35 years as on 02/11/2015. 


Application should be registered on-line only. The application for on-line registration will be hosted on the SAC web-site www.sac.gov.in during the period from 12/10/2015 to 02/11/2015 from 08.00 hrs. to 20.00 hrs. Upon registration, applicants will be provided with an on-line Registration Number, which should be carefully preserved for future reference. It is also mandatory to send hard copy of on-line application summary with signature and colour photograph pasted in the appropriate column along with attested true copies of the testimonials such as Mark sheets and certificates of all Educational Qualification, Age Proof, Caste/Tribe certificate, Disability Certificate, Discharge certificate for Ex-servicemen (if applicable), experience certificate etc. to the “Administrative Officer (RMT), Recruitment Section (P&GA), Building No. 30-D, Space Applications Centre (ISRO), Ambawadi Vistar P.O., Satellite Road, Ahmedabad – 380015 (Gujarat)” superscribing the Advertisement Number, Post Code and Registration Number on the Front side of the envelope (size : 35cm X 26cm) and should reach on or before 16/11/2015 through ordinary post only. The Centre will not be responsible for any postal delay. The remaining copy of registration confirmation form shall be retained by the candidate for future reference.
